First UK showing for Revolutionary Girl Utena: The Movie
Another attempt is being made by the NFT to screen the anime film Revolutionary Girl Utena: The Movie (their previous attempt in 2001 failed when the film print failed to arrive in time).

This time, the film is being advertised as part of the 18th London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival, with showings on 30th and 31st March. More details cam be found on the LLGFF website at http://www.llgff.org.uk/films_details.php?FilmID=154

 
The Big O premieres on Toonami
Toonami are expanding their anime line up, with the premiere of The Big O this Monday (1st March). Episodes will be shown daily at 7:00pm and 9:50pm.

Ghost in the Shell TV series coming to the UK
A recent press release from Manga Entertainment and Bandai Entertainment in the US (http://www.animeondvd.com/news/pr.php?pr_view=293) hinted at a UK release for the TV series 'Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex'. I have spoken to Manga's UK office and they confirmed that they will be releasing the series in the UK, with an intended start date of June this year.

MVM news
Three snippets from MVM:

They have confirmed that they have acquired the UK rights to Armitage III Polymatrix and Tenchi Muyo movies 1 and 3, which they hope to release later this year.

The release date for the first volume of Fruits Basket has slipped a month to 5th April. Everything else is still on schedule.
