Escaflowne on UK DVD
====================

Out of the blue, the first two volumes of the TV series Escaflowne have been
released in the UK by Bandai. The low-key release is apparently because
Bandai will be launching the series properly next year, but they have
already manufactured the DVDs, so some retailers asked nicely and got some
copies to sell.

ADV plans for 2003
==================

At the recent AyaReturns convention in Northampton, a representative of
ADV Films was showing off a list of their forthcoming releases for next
year. There were no great surprises, but the important point is that they
are planning to increase their output to three or four DVDs a month in the
future.
