Anime at the Leeds International Film Festival
==============================================

The Leeds International Film Festival is held in October each year, and as
in previous years, there will be some anime films included. The showings
have not been finalised, but it is known that they will be taking place at
The Lounge cinema in Leeds over the weekend of 5th and 6th October.

The unconfirmed list of anime films to be shown is: Escaflowne: A Girl in
Gaia, Millennium Actress, Jin-roh and Metropolis. Non-anime films in the
festival will include Avalon (a live action film by Mamoru Oishii) and My
Beautiful Girl Mari (a Korean animated film).

Evangelion: Death and Rebirth in Cinemas
========================================

Manga Entertainment have been promoting their forthcoming release of
Evangelion: Death and Rebirth with a series of screenings of the film
around the country. Some forthcoming dates are:

1st October  - Departure Lounge, Brighton
29th October - The Phoenix Cinema, Oxford

Evangelion: Death and Rebirth will be Manga's last new release this year,
but they tell me they have a 'very full schedule' for next year.
