Film news
=========

At very short notice, I have discovered that The 13th International Film
Festival Wales that is being held in Cardiff this week is hosting the UK
premieres of two new anime feature films - 'Metropolis', and 'The Boy Who
Saw The Wind'. Both films will be shown tomorrow (23rd November). Details
of the showings can be found on the festival web site:

If you can't make, don't worry. 'Metropolis' is being distributed in the UK
by Columbia/Tristar Pictures, a major film distributor. A high profile
release is expected sometime next year.

Elsewhere, Cambridge Arts Picture House has officially announced that it
will be showing a short season of Studio Ghibli films from 18th - 27th

ADV Films News

ADV Films future release plans are starting to come together. All of their
future releases will be on DVD, with VHS included for new material. Titles
planned for release next year are: Gunsmith Cats, Ninja Resurrection, Dirty
Pair Flash, Generator Gawl, Gaseraki, Samurai X, Burn Up W, Sin: The Movie,
Slayers, Sakura Diaries and Original Dirty Pair.
