'The Anime Encyclopedia' is an exhaustive guide to every anime every made, or at least the 2,000 or so titles that they could cram in. The book is a hefty 550 pages long, and costs $25. There is no sign of a UK edition of the encyclopedia being produced, but imported copies can be found at specialist comic shops. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- MVM launches UK Anime Club ========================== MVM have recently sent the following e-mail to everyone on their mailing list: Dear Customer, MVM are proud to announce the launch of the UK Anime Club. This can be printed off and sent in or you can join on-line direct from our fully secure site www.mvm-uk.co.uk A years membership of the UK Anime Club could make a perfect Xmas present for that Anime buddy who's already got everything! Membership available to UK residents only at quoted joining fee. Overseas fans are welcome but need to enquire. Thanks for your support. The enrolment form is too large for me to include here. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Studio Ghibli Season starts this week ===================================== A quick reminder that the Studio Ghibli season at the Barbican cinema in London starts this week with the UK premiere of Princess Mononoke on Friday.
