Cardcaptors comes to ITV 1

Cardcaptors is the latest anime series to make it to terestrial TV in the
UK. It starts on ITV 1 next week, showwing from 3rd September at 3:40pm.

This is the official description of the series:
 "Cardcaptors follows the adventures of Sakura Avalon, a 10 year-old-girl
  whose orderly world changes forever the day she discovers a mysterious
  antique book of cards in her basement. Sakura unwittingly releases the
  awesome power of the magical cards within the book. With the help of
  Kero, a small, winged creature who comes to life with the deck, Sakura
  must retrieve all the missing cards before they can unleash their
  mischief upon the world."

Barbican Ghibli season news
===========================

Tickets for the forthcoming season of Studio Ghibli films at the Barbican
cinema in London have now gone on sale. The season lasts from 13th October
to 4th November, and will include all of Ghibli's theatrical productions
from Nausicaa to My Neighbours the Yamadas, with some of the films being
shown in the UK for the first time.
