Minamicon 7 approaches 
======================

It is now less than six weeks to go until anime fandom descends on
Southampton for the seventh annual Minami convention. As in previous years
the popularity of the event is pushing the capacity of the hotel to its
limit, and there is a real possibility that the convention will have to
turn people away if they do not pre-register. To avoid disappointment,
register now at http://www.minami7.anime.org.uk.

Another Japanese cultural export hits Britain

A Bristol based company, BS Group has announced a partnership with Tokyo
Plaza Group, with the intention of opening a chain of pachinko parlours
across Europe. The first location will be in London and should open within
the next six months.
