FilmFour does anime
===================

The new film channel FilmFour has set itself a remit of providing a diet of
the best in independent cinema, and is including a range of Japanese films
in its schedule. A selection of classic Akira Kurosawa movies have been
shown alongside vintage Godzilla, joined on occasion by a heavily cut
version of Legend of the Overfiend. More intriging is that episodes of the
classic OAV series Gunbuster have been appearing as a filler between
movies. Unfortunately such filler material is not advertised or included in
programme listings and is shown at irregular times, so it is impossible to
know in advance when it will be shown.
