Tenji - The 1996 Manga Exhibition

Hot off the press, here is the text of the press release:

 "Britain's first exhibition of original Japanese manga and anime opens at
  the Ritzy Cinema in Brixtons Coldharbour Lane, London SW2. Tenji, The
  Manga Exhibition, 1996 has been curated by Manga Entertainment - the
  company which pioneered Japanese animation in the UK - and will run from
  September 27th until October 14th, 1996.

 "On show will be original artwork, Japanese storyboards and animation cels
  from such classic Manga films as Akira, Patlabor, Urotsukidoji and Ghost
  in the Shell. There will also be the opportunity to learn about the
  history and development of anime and manga in Japan with question and
  answer sessions and guest speakers. The exhibition will feature regular
  film screenings - many in their original Japanese subtitled form -
  including a special early premiere of Junk Boy.

 "The launch of Tenji (Japanese for Exhibition) will provide the most
  comprehensive insight into Manga and Anime yet seen in the UK.

 "Features of Tenji: The Manga Exhibition 1996 include:

  -Original animation cels from the films (many of which will be for sale)
  -Original Japanese storyboards
  -Original manga (comics), books and graphic novels
  -Limited edition Japanese posters
