Anime FX loses publisher

In a shock move, Ashdown Publishing has withdrawn its support from Anime FX, leaving the magazine without a publisher. After the release of issue 12 at the end of this month, there will be no further issues until a new publisher can be found. Despite speculation to the contrary, this does not mean the end of AFX, although it is possible that the magazine may have to change its name.

To help cover their remaining costs, AFX will be holding a 'garage sale' of various anime related goodies that have accumulated over the years. The sale will be from 10am onwards on Saturday 2nd March at their offices at 70 Mortimer Street, London (nearest tube - Oxford Circus).

March releases from Manga Video

Coming next month on the 4th March will be Mad Bull 2, Goku - Midnight Eye 2, Giant Robo 2 and Vampire Princess Miyu volume 1. The second Goku tape replaces La Blue Girl, which has been posponed until May (no surprise there!)

Interactive Terasawa CD release

Eagle Peak Interactive and EMG Publishing have signed a deal with Pathe Interactive to publish Buichi Terasawa's CD-ROM based manga series Takeru in the UK. The anticipated release date is December this year.
